Reception class visiting Kenilworth Castle

As part of their current topic, 'Kings and Queens’, the Reception class will be visiting Kenilworth Castle to learn about 'Life in a Castle' on Wednesday 22nd May 2024. 

Children should wear school uniform and should bring items suitable for the weather on the day (e.g. a raincoat or sun hat). They will require a packed lunch and a water bottle. We will be completing registration in the classroom and leaving at 9:15am on the coach. We will be back in school before the end of the school day so the children can be collected as normal or participate in their usual after school clubs.

We are requesting a voluntary contribution of £17.40 per child to cover the cost of the session and coach hire. Please make your payment using School Gateway, where you will also be asked to confirm your consent, by Friday 17th May 2024.

Whilst this payment is voluntary we will not be able to run the trip unless the cost is covered. If you have difficulty making this payment please contact the office in confidence in advance of the deadline for payment. 

We are also looking for a couple of parent volunteers to help with this visit. If you are able to join us please contact the office (admin2017@welearn365.com).
