Sports Day 2024
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are very excited to announce that sports day will be taking place this year on Friday 5th July, 1.15pm - 3.15pm. We are incredibly excited for you to join us to celebrate the children’s sporting efforts!
- Children need to wear their PE kit to school, wearing a top of their house colour (Gannaway - green, Hollywell – yellow, Kington – red and Yarningale – blue).
- All children will need a cap, water bottle and to be wearing sun cream (applied before school). Please note that we cannot apply sun cream for children.
- Please do not bring food or drink to share with children during sports day. Refreshments will be available at the school fayre at the end of the day.
- Classes will move between activities in a clockwise manner; upon arrival, you will be informed where each year group starts.
- Once all activities are complete, children will sit in their houses on the running track, where the final results will be announced.
- Once the winners have been announced, children will be led back to their classrooms by their class adults, where you will be able to collect them. Please remain in the running track spectator area until all children are back in school.
- Once you have collected your child/children, we hope you enjoy the Friends School Fayre.
