Dear Parents and Carers,
I recently wrote to Year 1, 4 and 6 parents explaining staffing changes during the last two weeks of this half-term. At this point, I would like to update you on recent events and the impact that these will have on future staffing arrangements, initially when we return after half-term, and then at the start of the summer term.
Firstly, Mrs. Ford has requested a change in working hours (part-time) to spend time with her young family. Mrs. Ford is a valuable member of the team and I would like to thank her for her hard work in Year 1 over the last two years. I am very happy to support her and have agreed her request.
Secondly, I am very pleased to announce that Mrs. Glover will be returning to work after the half-term break.
As a result, the following staffing arrangements will be in place following half-term:
- Mrs. Ford will be changing year group to work alongside Mrs. Hinch in Year 4 until the end of the year.
- Mrs. Glover will move to Year 1 full-time for the rest of the year.
- Mrs Silk will continue to teach Year 6 supported by Mrs. Matthews and Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Cirin will be returning to school to complete her final teaching practice for the summer term.
Finally, Miss Carling has informed me that for personal reasons, she will be taking a break from teaching. I would like to thank her for her hard work and hope that she fulfils her potential when she returns to teaching.
In response to this change, I am currently advertising for a new Year 3 class teacher with the aim to appoint for the start of the summer term.
I would like to reassure you that I will be monitoring all changes very closely to ensure that all pupils are supported consistently to achieve their full potential.
Mr. D Powell
