ElsieReception
Elsie
Our star of the week is Elsie.
Elsie is very kind and caring towards all of her peers. She loves to engage in the role play, writing menus and creating a tasty plate of food. Elsie has worked really hard to learn all of our phonemes and graphemes and she always practises writing these within our continuous provision.
Well done Elsie!

LilyYear 1
Lily
Year 1s star of the week this week is Lily.
Lily is such a wonderful member of our class, always listening to instructions and trying her absolute best. She produces fabulous work in all areas of the curriculum and I was especially proud of her amazing performance as an angel in our nativity this week. Lily is a quiet member of our class and quite shy but she really shone in her role as an angel, speaking her words confidently and loudly, along with dancing beautifully.
Lily has received the first certificate for showing responsibility in our class which she thoroughly deserves. She is an excellent role model for her peers. We are so proud of everything you do, Lily.

ElenaYear 2
Elena
We have been incredibly proud of Elena this week in school.
Elena was our Angel Gabriel in the School Nativity and, although she was a bit nervous about her lines, she performed with great confidence, and we were so impressed with her! Elena has also been an amazing helper to Mrs Wishart this week when Miss Turner was not in school, acting as her teaching assistant!
Thank you for being so helping Elena and well done!

MattyYear 3
Matty
Our star this week is Matty.
Matty always comes happily into school every morning, ready to start the day. He is a most polite member of the class, something which has been commented on by many adults in school. Matty has developed a great growth mindset since being in Year Three. He is always conscientious, making sure that he is continually trying his best, even when at first the learning may be a challenge.
Keep believing in yourself Matty. We are very proud of you!

ZoeYear 4
Zoe
Zoe is our Year 4 star of the week.
Zoe is an absolute joy to have in the classroom and is incredibly polite, responsible and hard-working. Her work is always of an incredibly high standard, and she takes great pride in presenting her work beautifully and is always pushing herself to complete extra challenges that we set to deepen understanding. She has been working hard in maths this term solving some of the harder reasoning problems which needed resilience and persistence. Zoe is also a supportive learning partner and demonstrated exceptional teamwork skills during our whole class debate on The Parthenon Marbles.
Well done Zoe - you are a Year 4 superstar!
-
TobyYear 5
Toby
Our star of the week this week is Toby.
Toby is an asset to the year 5 class as a great role model in lesson, contributing ideas, but also as a fantastic friend in the playground. Toby recently has demonstrated an amazing resilience with his work and in school, he listens to adults in the class and shows a growth mindset to his learning recognising that using adult advice will help him further his own education. Toby is unbelievably respectful in class towards both adults and children, he starts the day with a lovely, 'Good morning!' and ends each lesson and school day with a huge, 'Thank you!' brightening up everyone's day with his presence.
Thank you Toby, we are so proud of you!

MalaYear 6
Mala
Mala is an inspiration to every single person within school. Mala always pushes herself to achieve her very best in every lesson - her creative writing this year has blown us away and we are already looking forward to the possibility of her writing being in Waterstones one day!
What truly makes Mala stand out is her dedication to making a genuine difference to the world around us and empowering positive change. Mala raised her concerns at the beginning of the year regarding women's rights in Iran. As a result, the school is now working together, with our pupils, to raise awareness of the current events in Iran and to play our part in driving change.
Mala - thank you for being a champion for change in our school community. You are amazing.
