We have chosen Oscar for our star this week as he has been working really hard with his self-regulation.
Oscar is fantastic when waiting for his turn and putting his hand up when he has something important to tell us. He is also working really hard on his handwriting and phonics, and we are very proud of his efforts.

HarveyYear 1
Harvey
Year 1s star of the week this week is Harvey.
We are so incredibly proud of Harvey's attitude to learning since coming back after the Christmas holidays. He is keen and focussed and constantly producing his best work. Harvey has been keen to get the star of the week since the start of Year 1 and we are delighted that he has now earnt it with his amazing resilience.

Henry
Year 2's Star of the Week is Henry.
We have been focusing on coins and notes in Year 2 which can be a challenging concept when contactless is used to often! Henry has been incredibly dedicated to improving his understanding of money. This includes the differences between different coins, the value of notes, and comparing. We are so proud of Henry's attitude to learning.

Olivia W-RYear 3
Olivia W-R
Olivia W-R is our star this week. Since starting in Year Three, she has risen to the challenge of being in Key Stage Two and the increased independence that this brings. Olivia has shown a great growth mindset towards her learning and is always trying to be the best that she can be. She takes her role as a school councillor most seriously, taking the time to focus in the meetings and feedback to the class.
Well done Olivia, we are very proud of you!

William
Our Year 4 star this week is William.
William has returned to school after the holidays with a real determination and focus. He has been working incredibly hard in all of his lessons and really showing respect by active listening and participation in both class discussion and individual work. He always has a smile on his face and a positive attitude which has an impact on the rest of the class and the adults.
Well done William - keep it up!

EllaYear 5
Ella
Year 5s star of the week this week is Ella.
Ella is an amazing character to have in the class, she is ever positive and is always so respectful to adults and children around her. Every morning she starts off with a lovely 'Good morning' and finishes with a 'Thank you'. She is a lovely friend and shows a lot of care and thoughtfulness to those around her, always looking for the best in people. Ella this year has demonstrated her growth mindset in maths, always pushing herself further and further, we are so proud of her for this! Ella has been successful in much of her English this year, showing her beautiful handwriting and a clear aim for meeting the success criteria she is set.
Keep up the amazing work Ella, go you!

Huey
Huey has made an exceptional start to Spring term!
We are exploring what it means to have a GROWTH mindset and Huey has certainly embraced this - with every challenge that he faces, he is pushing himself to achieve his best. Huey is always a star in our history lessons and his WW2 knowledge has truly impressed us this term!
Huey, keep going, keep pushing yourself and keep believing in yourself!
