Stars-of-Week-21 (ID 2038)
Our star is Claudia.
We have chosen Claudia because she is trying so hard to manage her distractions and has blown us away with her concentration and enthusiasm in our weekly reading groups. Claudia is also engaging well with all parts of our curriculum and again, blew us away with the knowledge that she could recall about our theme of Space.
Well done Claudia, keep it up!
Year 1 has chosen Izzy to be the star of the week this week.
Izzy has made some great improvements in her reading and writing. She has excellent phonics knowledge and puts this to use superbly in our lessons. She is trying really hard in her writing and her spelling is improving. She is demarcating her sentences mostly correctly.
Izzy is such a ray of sunshine, always smiling with a wicked personality. She is such a joy to have in the class every day.
Izzy is an exceptional artist and loves to produce beautiful work in all subjects.
Keep up the amazing attitude, Izzy.
Year 2's star of the week is Elliott.
We have been so proud with the effort Elliott has been putting into his mathematics lessons recently. He has been working so hard to complete his mental mathematic problems and has been brilliantly at applying and proving these within pictorial representations. Elliott has particularly enjoyed learning about multiplication this week! Elliott is consistently kind and caring to his peers, making him the perfect role model.
Well Done Elliott, we are very proud of you!
Our Star of the Week this week is Erin who has certainly risen to the challenge of being in Year Three.
She has taken on her role as one of our Wellbeing Ambassadors most responsibly. Erin always works to the best of her ability, presenting her learning so carefully and with a great sense of pride. Her handwriting is extremely neat. Erin is a most conscientious member of the class and can be relied upon to contribute to class discussions.
Well done Erin, you are a great role model for others, and we are very proud of you!
Our star of the week this week in Year 4 is Rocco.
Rocco is an incredibly helpful and proactive member of our class and relishes responsibility. Recently, he has been particularly kind and considerate in helping our new addition to the class settle in. He is also showing a real determination to achieve his goals which is the growth mindset that we want to see. Keep it up Rocco – you are a superstar!
Year 5’s star of the week this week is Isabelle.
Isabelle is a brilliant member off year 5, who is a focused learner, a caring friend and very respectful member of our class. Isabelle is a star every week, presenting her work beautifully, giving every bit of learning her full attention and showing her independence and resilience to keep on going even when the learning is tough.
As a person Isabelle is very kind and has a really thoughtful nature looking out for others and offering support and friendship to anyone in the class who needs it, she comes in each morning with a huge smile on her face and is always polite with the adults in the room. We are so proud of you Isabelle and are so lucky to have you in our class! Well done Isabelle!
Lucas is such a kind and thoughtful member of our class.
He has worked exceptionally hard over the past few months and has experienced some amazing success because of the hard work and effort he has put into his learning. Well done Lucas - we are incredibly proud of you and all you have achieved. We also want to thank Lucas for his impeccable manners. Lucas always speaks to adults in such a mature and respectful way and greets us with a smile and a 'how are you?' and shows genuine care towards others.
