EmilieReception
Emilie
Our star of the week is Emilie.
We have chosen Emilie because she makes some really valuable contributions to our learning sessions, recalling vocabulary previously taught in our Understanding of the World sessions through Primary Knowledge Curriculum.
Emilie very confidently told me the sequences needed to grow a healthy plant from a seed and used the word 'wilt' to describe a plant that had not been given enough light and water.
Well done Emilie!

EmilyYear 1
Emily
Year 1s star of the week is Emily.
Emily always tries so hard in her learning and is incredibly resilient, pushing herself to make improvements to her work. This has allowed her to make improvements in all areas of the curriculum and it has been especially noticeable in her reading, writing and maths.
She is an absolute joy to have in the class, always shooting her hand up to eagerly answer questions. She is so smiley and delightful. It always makes me so happy to see Emily in the morning.
Emily is also exceptionally kind and is very popular with the rest of the class.
Keep up your amazing attitude, Emily!

We have chosen Amelie for our star this week.
We have been so proud of Amelie’s growth mindset and learning attitudes in Maths this week. Amelie has been working incredibly hard to complete her measurement questions, never giving up! Amelie is consistently a great role model for her peers, being a kind and caring member of our class.
Well done Amelie. You are amazing!

ImogenYear 3
Imogen
Our Star of the Week this week is Imogen.
Imogen has certainly been demonstrating the best version of herself not only with regards to her learning, but also as a learning partner and a friend. She is a quiet and conscientious member of the class, who has been showing a great resilience and a 'can do' attitude.
She is developing in confidence when sharing her ideas and thoughts in class discussions. Imogen is enjoying her writing in particular, and has worked hard to improve her work, responding to feedback that she has been given.
She is a most avid reader, not only reading the books provided by school, but a wide range of other books from home or the library.
Imogen, we are very proud of you. Well done!

BetsyYear 4
Betsy
This week, our Year 4 star is Betsy.
Betsy is a hard worker and faces challenges with maturity and positivity. She has been working incredibly hard on her presentation this term which is impressive. In class, she is enthusiastic and always keen to make contributions to our group discussions and this week, Betsy has particularly impressed us with her work in SMSC lessons.
Well done Betsy!

FinleyYear 5
Finley
Year 5’s star of the week this week is Finley.
Finley is a valuable member of the Year 5 class socially, on the sporting field and with his knowledge. Finley is a very mature member of the class and can have insightful conversations with adults, whilst also maintaining great friendships with his peers. Finley’s work and presentation is always of the highest standard; even when work is tough Finley shows an amazing growth mindset allowing himself to achieve a high quality output, which is fantastic to see! We are so proud of everything Finley does and achieves and are so grateful that he is part of our awesome Year 5 class!
Well done Finley!

FreddieYear 6
Freddie
Freddie - what a year you are having!
In every lesson, you strive to be the very best that you can be - whether that's a mathematical puzzle, a creative writing task or a quest into the past in history, you always give 110%. Alongside your hard work in the classroom, we are beyond proud with the way in which you interact with the younger children in school - if children have a question, if they are feeling a bit down, they know they can speak to you and you will always, always help them.
Another awesome achievement... your recent footballing performances - you have played an integral role in the school's recent victories with your endless energy and phenomenal passing! Keep it up, Freddie!
