AdinahReception
Adinah
Our star of the week is Adinah.
We have chosen Adinah because her effort in our reading groups is amazing. She is enthusiastic and keen to show how well she can read a text, use her prosody and comprehension within all three sessions each week. Adinah is also putting super effort into the phonic lessons that she takes part in every day. It is really nice to see this growing independence.
Keep up your hard work!

LottieYear 1
Lottie
This week’s star of the week in Year 1 is Lottie.
Lottie has completed the most amazing, thoughtful piece of work in Science focusing on the problems with deforestation as well as our need to cut down trees.
Lottie tries so hard in her learning and has made a super improvement this term. Lottie is always one of the first to start her morning work and remains focused throughout the day.
She should be very proud of her achievements.

FinnYear 2
Finn
This week, we have been blown away by Finn's dedication and commitment to DT.
Finn has been sewing and making a fabric pencil case, and we have been incredibly impressed by his resilience and confidence. Finn has worked really hard to use running stitch independently and has really been placing a considerable amount of time and effort into this. Finn did not give up, kept going, and was able to succeed.
Well Done Finn - we are so proud of you!

TiffaniYear 3
Tiffani
Our Star of the Week this week is Tiffani.
Since joining the class, she has developed an increased growth mind set, having to get used to a different country and a very different education system. Tiffani has risen to this challenge. Her progress in her reading and handwriting has been most pleasing to see. Tiffani has shown a particular enthusiasm for our creative curriculum. Her art and Design and Technology work has been amazing.
Well done Tiffani, keep developing your growth mind set.
We are very proud of you!

HenryYear 4
Henry
This week, our star is Henry.
Henry is a fantastic learner, who embraces new learning with enthusiasm. He soaks up knowledge and is keen to share ideas and thoughts with the rest of the class. Henry is also a very reflective learner, taking on board advice and using it to continually improve.
Keep up the hard work Henry!

LottieYear 5
Lottie
Our star of the week this week is Lottie.
Lottie has had the most fantastic week, enhancing her reading with Mrs Smith and smashing her maths. Lottie demonstrates fantastic resilience and independence with all the work she does, even if she feels under confident she will always have a good go on her own before seeking adult support which is awesome to see!
Lottie takes great responsibility with any jobs she is given and will always perform them to the best of her ability. Lottie has been a lovely generous friend and is always looking out for her peers, offering her support to them and I know that they are immensely grateful for this.
Thank you Lottie for contributing so much and being such a vital member of our Year 5 team!
