HattieReception
Hattie
Our star is Hattie. We have chosen Hattie because she works so well in the classroom environment, always busing herself and having a go at all of our curriculum challenges. Hattie is doing amazing learning in phonics and can recall most of the phonemes and graphemes that we have learnt so far and is beginning to blend them in words.
Well done for being so friendly and hardworking.

HarrietYear 1
Harriet
This week's star of the week is Harriet. Harriet has been trying so hard in all areas of the curriculum. She listens exceptionally well during teaching time which shows when she completes her work. We are especially proud of her this week because she has independently written multi-syllabic words in a sentence during our dragon poetry and she has used some amazing adjectives to describe a dragon. She is blossoming into an expert poet. Well done, Harriet, you should be very proud of yourself.

MillieYear 2
Millie
Millie has been working really hard this week to consistently display our 4 Rs. Millie is incredibly engaged in all lessons, always wanting to share her ideas with the class or her partner. Millie loves selecting and using interesting vocabulary in English, which has allowed her to produce a great innovated narrative this week based on Stuck by Oliver Jeffers. Well Done Millie! We are really proud of you and you are a joy to teach.

TrudyYear 3
Trudy
Trudy is our star in Year Three this week. Over the last few weeks, she has impressed us with her great focus on her learning. Trudy has developed a great growth mind set and has certainly seen the benefits of trying her best, to achieve the best outcome for her learning. She is asking pertinent questions to improve her learning also, which is a great skill. Keep being positive and trying your best Trudy, because we know that you can achieve many things. Well done, we are very proud of you!

EmilyYear 4
Emily
In Year 4, our star of the week is Emily. Emily is a ray of positivity in our classroom and is always smiling. She works incredibly hard in every lesson and this week, Emily amazed us all in science with her fantastic knowledge of the digestive system and was able to support others with their independent work. Emily is also deeply empathetic and caring and she also produced some wonderful work in RE this week. After learning about the Beatitudes, Emily wrote some very wise guidance on how to live a happy life. Well done Emily. Keep being yourself - you are amazing!

Ava GYear 5
Ava G
Ava G is our star of the week this week. First and foremost Ava is an outstanding presence in and out of the class, wherever you see her around school, you are greeted with a huge, beaming smile. In class, she is a true role model, always looking to contribute her ideas in discussions whilst also listening well to her peers, allowing her to add to and enhance their points. Ava's written work is always of the highest calibre taking great pride in both presentation and content. Ava is a true asset to year 5 and the school and we in year 5 are very proud of her and the way she conducts herself. Well done Ava!

HenryYear 6
Henry
Henry's attitude towards learning has been incredible this week! In all lessons, he has pushed himself to produce his best work. In our Art lesson, Henry believe his final drawing could have been even better... so he decided to take responsibility and practise different techniques at home! Alongside all of this awesomeness, Henry has been a role model to his peers this week by showing respect to all adults in school - saying thank you and offering his help whenever possible. Henry, you are a legend! Keep it up and you are going to have the best year!
