HarryYear 1
Harry
Year 1s star of the week is Harry. He is such an inspiration to his classmates, always showing enthusiasm in everything he does. He has shown great maturity during our enrichment week, learning about water and sanitation poverty and coming up with innovative ideas to combat this.
Harry is such a joy to have in the class and is a super friend as well as an amazing learner.
We are so proud of Harry this half term!

LilyYear 2
Lily
Lily has had a fabulous return to Year 2 after the half-term break. We have been so impressed with Lily's eagerness to write and her improved pace. Lily has been working really hard this week to segment all of her chosen words, using her sound mat and other resources around her.
Well Done Lily, we are really proud of you and the work you have produced!

NateYear 3
Nate
Nate is our Star of the Week this week. Over the last few weeks, he has particularly impressed us with his maths learning. In lessons he is demonstrating his secure understanding of new concepts being taught and is able to articulate his reasoning.
Nate has enjoyed contributing to class discussions and is able to support other's learning with his suggestions. He always completes his home learning and is enjoying making comments in his reading diary about what he has read.
Well done Nate, we are very proud of you!

TabbyYear 4
Tabby
Tabby is the Year 4 star of the week this week. Tabby has grown in confidence since the beginning of the term and shows a real passion and enthusiasm for learning. Her positive growth mindset shines through and she always shows determination and resilience when things get tough. Her contributions to our Global Goals week before half term were incredibly mature and thoughtful and she is a real asset to our class.
-
Ava R-HYear 5
Ava R-H
Our star of the week this week in Year 5 is Ava. Ava is an asset to Year 5; her respectful nature and support of friends around her in class is amazing, she takes responsibility when given a role such as her UNICEF ambassador role, but also locker monitor in class and will perform the role to the best of her ability. Her work is always performed to the highest of standards with perfect presentation and a smile on her face as she completes it!
Ava is a dream to teach as she has a streak of a teacher in herself. She is amazing at looking out for learners around her when is confident on a task and those around her are less so. She will support her friends in their learning time and time again, consolidating her own learning, whilst also maintaining an incredibly high standard of work herself.
Well done Ava, a thoroughly deserved star of the week!
-
EddieYear 6
Eddie
Since coming back from half term, Eddie's focus in lessons has been exceptional. With his suspense writing, Eddie has unlocked his creativity and is now starting to think very carefully about the impact he wants his writing to have on the reader. Something else that has really stood out is the effort and responsibility Eddie has taken over his presentation - he really has pushed himself to be 10/10 in every lesson. Eddie - you have set the standard now! Keep up the awesome work - we are very proud of you!
