Times Tables Rockstars Trial (Year 3 and Year 4)

Dear Parents and Carers,
We are pleased to announce that we are trialling an award-winning platform to support our children learning their times tables (including the associated division facts).  This platform is called Times Tables Rock Stars, or TTRS for short.  At present this is being trialled with Year 3 and Year 4. 

Although the children have already used the platform in class, we would like your child to be able to access it at home too. Your child will be bringing home a letter which explains how your child can access this platform at home. You can either access the platform by typing in the web address as stated on the letter or you can download the app. Their personal login information will be on this letter.

• Encourage your child to play in Garage Mode on TTRS as this will ensure that they are working on the facts that they need to improve.  
• We are encouraging children to log on for at least 3 times a week for 5 minutes or more.

Times Tables are such a vital part of children becoming secure mathematicians and we thank you for your support with this. In the Summer term, we will be sending a parent and carer survey to capture your feedback on this new and exciting strategy (as well as speaking to children within school!).
