Year 3 visit the ThinkTank
To complement our Science curriculum, Year 3 will be visiting the ThinkTank museum in Birmingham on Wednesday 17th July 2024. During our visit, the children will be taking part in two workshop experiences with a focus on rocks and fossils, and forces and magnets.
Children should wear school uniform and should bring items suitable for the weather on the day (e.g. a raincoat or sun hat). They will require a packed lunch and a water bottle. This is a full day visit, so we will leave school after registration at 9.00 and will return by the end of the school day.
I'm sure that you will agree, this will be an excellent opportunity for the children to experience hands on learning in a museum setting.
We are requesting a voluntary contribution of £27.50 per child to cover the cost of the visit and coach hire. Please make your payment using School Gateway, where you will also be asked to confirm your consent, by Wednesday 3rd July.
Whilst this payment is voluntary, we will not be able to run the trip unless the cost is covered. If you have difficulty making this payment please contact the office in confidence in advance.
