Year 5/6 visit to Birmingham Central Mosque
As part of their RE learning, Year 5 and 6 will be visiting the Birmingham Central Mosque on Wednesday 6th December 2023. There will be a focus on broadening the children’s understanding of the Islamic faith and Islamic architecture.
Children should wear school uniform. They will require a packed lunch and a water bottle for the day. This is a half day visit, where we will be leaving at 9:30am and return for 1:25pm. Please can the children arrive promptly at 8:45am as usual in the morning, entering through the school gates to ensure they are registered promptly in the classroom and ready and organised for the 9:30am departure.
We are requesting a voluntary contribution of £12.25 per child to cover the cost of the session and coach hire. Please make your payment using School Gateway where you will also be asked to confirm your consent, by 29th November 2023.
Whilst this payment is voluntary we will not be able to run the trip unless the cost is covered. If you may have difficulty making this payment please contact the office in confidence by Friday 17th November.
